Review of 25 September 2001 Meeting
Mason District Governmental Center
6507 Columbia Pike
Falls Church, VA

We had about 16 people over time at the September meeting. This was more than expected because we were being shunted to one of the small meeting rooms and it was only a few days after our fall yard sale event.

Dave Welser was present and told us his version of the trip to New Jersey to get the planer for Tuckahoe.

Don Nichols gave the main presentation on measuring instruments. Here he is show holding a special micrometer for checking 3 and 6 flute endmills.

All types of measuring devices were discussed, even the lowly tape measure, which it turns out has some special features most of us did not know about.

Here is a view of the large selection of instruments displayed.

Fred Schirrmacher informed us of a special sale going on at Wholesale Tool.

Chris Helgesen caught in the act of horse trading in the parking lot.

Cookies provide evidence that once again the Therry brothers drove all the way from Pennsylvania to brighten our evening.

News Flash! For once we were all too tired to make the IHOP run.
